School Districts
Heatherwood Village is divided into two sections, which span two school districts, with Faulkey Gully being the border between the two sections. If you are east of the gully, you are in Tomball ISD and if you live west of the gully, you are in Cy-Fair ISD.
Tax Base
The two school districts have two different tax rates, which are as follows:
Tomball ISD: $1.36 per $100 assessed value according to Harris County Appraisal Tax Records
Cy-Fair ISD: $1.41 per $100 assessed value according to Harris County Appraisal Tax Records
